The Alabama Lifespan Respite Resource Network in collaboration with the ARCH National Respite Network is hosting the 2017 National Lifespan Respite Conference in Huntsville Alabama at the Embassy Suites Hotel from October 11 to 13, 2017. This year’s conference theme is “Take Off with Respite!”, which reflects the history of the space industry in Huntsville, AL. The theme also reflects the mission of the respite care network - to rise to meet challenges, heighten awareness, and push innovation to ensure a safe landing for the nation's 43 million family caregivers.

Join us for the National Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Conference held in Baltimore, MD from August 28 to August 31. The Conference offers a unique blend of policy, program, and practice issues for professionals interested in home and community based services for individuals of all abilities and in all settings.

The AARP Public Policy Institute and the National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI) are hosting a variety of speakers to explain the effects and implications that the American Health Care Act will have on the Medicaid program. The event will be held in Washington, DC on June 22, 2017, 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. ET.

The P&A/CAP Annual Conference will be held June 12^th-15^th in Baltimore, Maryland. P&A staff, board members, PAIMI Council members, colleagues, disability advocates, attorneys and NDRN federal partners will gather together for a week of intense training, hard work, collaboration. The conference will host more than 70 workshops. 

The National Resource Center for Participant-Directed Services (NRCPDS) has offered a biennial Financial Management Services (FMS) Conference for the past 10 years. With the NRCPDS' move to Applied Self Direction, they are building on the successful FMS Conference to host a Self Direction Conference. The Self Direction Conference will be held on May 8th and 9th, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, MD.

The Consumer Voice Annual Conference is in Washington, DC November 5-8, 2017. This conference will include:

• One-on-one dialogue with consumers of long-term services and supports;
• The latest policy updates directly from key experts at the federal level;
• Learning about best practices nationwide;
• Attending skills trainings and acquire tools and resources;
