How Could Medicaid Reform Impact Access to Health Care and Long-term Services and Supports?

The AARP Public Policy Institute and the National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI) are hosting a variety of speakers to explain the effects and implications that the American Health Care Act will have on the Medicaid program. The event will be held in Washington, DC on June 22, 2017, 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. ET.

P&A/CAP Annual Conference

Event Description: 

The P&A/CAP Annual Conference will be held June 12th-15th in Baltimore, Maryland. P&A staff, board members, PAIMI Council members, colleagues, disability advocates, attorneys and NDRN federal partners will gather together for a week of intense training, hard work, collaboration. The National Resource Center for Participant-Directed Services (NRCPDS) has offered a biennial Financial Management Services (FMS) Conference for the past 10 years. With the NRCPDS' move to Applied Self Direction, they are building on the successful FMS Conference to host a Self Direction Conference. The Self Direction Conference will be held on May 8th and 9th, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, MD.

Long-Term Services and Supports Open Door Forum

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is holding an upcoming Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) Open Door Forum that will focus on Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS). The integration of LTSS and associated beneficiary protections into the Medicaid managed care regulatory will be discussed. The “open door forums” are hosted to provide an opportunity for live dialogue and foster strong collaboration between CMS and the stakeholder community at large.

Iowa Conference on Aging and Disabilities
