The conferece features two tracks: Operation & Practice and Policy & Strategy. The Operation & Practice track will cover the foundations of participant direction and FMS. NRCPDS seeks presentations targeted to FMS practitioners on orienting participants and caregivers, working with service coordinators, enrollment and retention, working with managed care entities, effective transfer procedures, budget and authorization management, billing and claiming, tax and labor rules, implementing verification strategies, and other operational matters. The Policy & Strategy track will target the experienced FMS practitioner, manager, and executive, and will cover national strategies and more technically-oriented topics. This track will include future concerns and opportunities for FMS providers. NRCPDS encourages proposals for topics around expansion of FMS, responding to RFPs, negotiations with states and managed care entities, compliance strategies, and other related topics.
