NICOA Conference on Aging in Indian Country

Event Description: 

The 2018 National Indian Council on Aging, Inc. (NICOA) Conference on Aging in Indian Country will be held in Temecula, California. This biennial conference focuses exclusively on American Indian and Alaska Native Elders. Attendees will learn about important policy issues for Elders, discuss new programs and services that tribal communities are developing to promote aging and support services within Indian Country and urban areas, attend workshops, and participate in cultural events focused on Elders.

National Training Institute

This forum attracts law enforcement, victim service professionals, allied practitioners, policymakers, and researchers to share current developments and build new collaborations. It offers over 80 interactive conference sessions highlighting practical information to better support services for persons victimized by all types of crimes. 

2019 Aging in America Conference

Event Description: 

The 2019 Aging in America Conference will be held in New Orleans, April 15-18. Over 3,000 attendees from across the nation and abroad attend the annual ASA Aging in America Conference conference to learn, network and participate in the largest multidisciplinary conference covering issues of aging and quality of life for older adults.

2018 Consumer Voice Conference

Event Description: 

Registration is now open for the 2018 Consumer Voice Conference. This year’s conference will be held October 22-24, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza Old Town Alexandria in Alexandria, Virginia. The conference will feature federal policy experts discussing policy updates, long-term care consumers speaking about their experiences, the opportunity to share best practices with other advocates, and an environment to develop new skills that will support future advocacy work.

National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) Annual Conference

The National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) is hosting their Annual Conference from June 18 – 21, 2018 in Baltimore, MD.  The conference will be attended by over 500 P&A professionals and will feature over 70 workshops to help attendees grow skills, build partnerships, and improve advocacy efforts.
