Registration is now open for the 2018 Consumer Voice Conference. This year’s conference will be held October 22-24, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza Old Town Alexandria in Alexandria, Virginia. The conference will feature federal policy experts discussing policy updates, long-term care consumers speaking about their experiences, the opportunity to share best practices with other advocates, and an environment to develop new skills that will support future advocacy work.

AUCD has announced that their 2018 conference will be held on November 11-14 in Washington, DC and will focus on the theme of belonging and inclusion. The goal of this conference is to share strategies for integrating people with disabilities into every aspect of their communities and to promote equal opportunity in all areas, including education, housing, employment, healthcare, transportation, faith communities, and beyond.

NCIL is hosting the 2018 Annual Conference on Independent Living from July 23-26 in Washington, DC. The theme of this year’s conference is mobilization and advocacy. Over 1,000 people are expected to attend, making this the biggest Independent Living event of 2018. Early bird registration is available through April 27.

The National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) is hosting their Annual Conference from June 18 – 21, 2018 in Baltimore, MD.  The conference will be attended by over 500 P&A professionals and will feature over 70 workshops to help attendees grow skills, build partnerships, and improve advocacy efforts.

Register today for the 40th Annual AIRS I&R Training and Education Conference! The conference will be held June 3 to 6, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. The Registration Brochure is available through the AIRS website along with additional conference information including hotel reservations, online registration and a program summary. The conference registration is open, and Early Bird prices are available until April 3, 2018.

The Alabama Lifespan Respite Resource Network in collaboration with the ARCH National Respite Network is hosting the 2017 National Lifespan Respite Conference in Huntsville Alabama at the Embassy Suites Hotel from October 11 to 13, 2017. This year’s conference theme is “Take Off with Respite!”, which reflects the history of the space industry in Huntsville, AL. The theme also reflects the mission of the respite care network - to rise to meet challenges, heighten awareness, and push innovation to ensure a safe landing for the nation's 43 million family caregivers.
