The Role of AAAs in Dementia Services and Brain Health

N4a previously conducted a poll on how Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) across the country have adapted to serve growing numbers of individuals with dementia and their caregivers. The poll also asked AAAs about the development of initiatives related to brain health. This webinar will review the results of the poll and highlight innovative programs from AAAs. 

PACE Mystery Shopper Study - Wave 3 Results

Event Description: 

This webinar will review the results from the 2018 PACE Mystery Shopper Study. This study used mystery shoppers in six states to asses the accuracy of PACE awareness in counselors supporting LTSS beneficiaries. The six states included in this study are: California, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Introduction to the National Ombudsman Reporting System (NORS) Using AGing Integrated Database (AGID)

Event Description: 

This webinar will provide an overview of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and the program's data collection, known as the National Ombudsman Reporting System (NORS). Participants will learn how this data is used to inform policy and practice. The webinar will also provide an introduction to the AGing Integrated Database (AGID), an online query system based on ACL-related data files and surveys. AGID includes NORS data and can display different levels of focus and aggregation, from individual data elements to full database access.
