The House released the long-awaited package of FY2015 appropriations measures on Tuesday night. This legislation would fund most of the Federal Government through September 30, 2015. The package was negotiated between appropriators in the House and the Senate and is expected to pass both chambers. The Federal Government funding authority expires Thursday night; however, it appears that Congress will extend the funding authority in time. Because of this, we believe that there is very little risk of another government shutdown. ADvancing States will provide updates once the legislation clears each chamber and is signed into law.
