The American Society on Aging is hosting a webinar on "Financial Fraud in the Aging Community" as part of their webinar series. This webinar highlights the psychological and emotional impacts of financial fraud. The discussion will include the non-financial costs of fraud and associated trauma, the effects on older adults, and the potential factors leading to victimization. Participants of this webinar will learn about the fraud that victims experience, challenges experienced by older adults in financial decision making, a trauma-informed approach to helping victims, and resources to assist victims of financial fraud.
