Event Description: 

ACL announced a virtual event celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The event will focus on the work of the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). The event will highlight past, current, and future research endeavors aimed towards the advancement of employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Presentations and panel discussions include NIDILRR grantees, with remarks from ACL Administrator Lance Robertson.

Tools for Financial Caregivers of Older Adults

Event Description: 

Join the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) for a webinar on financial caregivers. The NAC will present key highlights and findings from the Caregiving in the US 2020 report that focus on financial challenges that affect caregivers and older adults. Presenters from CFPB will provide helpful resources for financial caregivers of older adults, including money management tips and tools during the COVID-19 pandemic.
