COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force Meeting

Event Description: 

The HHS Office of Minority Health will host a meeting today, March 26th of the COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force. The Task Force is charged with making recommendations to the President to eliminate health and social disparities that result in disproportionately higher rates of exposure, illness, hospitalization and death related to COVID-19, and for preventing such inequities in the future.

NEVVA Webinar Series: EVV 2.0 & How It Can Influence National EVV Policy

Event Description: 

The 21st Century Cures Act requires states to have an electronic visit verification (EVV) system in place for personal care services beginning in 2021, and home healthcare services beginning in 2023. As of March 2021, 29 states were compliant with the mandate and 22 states were out of compliance. Though several states had EVV systems in place before the Cures Act became law, most states implemented or are working to implement systems in response to the Act’s mandate.

Join RIC's webinar to discuss how health plans can support vulnerable populations in getting access to COVID-19 vaccines. Individuals dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid are at higher risk for severe COVID-19 infection, and are hospitalized with COVID-19 at a rate three times higher than Medicare-only beneficiaries.

Person-Centered Practices in Schools from New Jersey
