Self-Direction for Dually Eligible Individuals Utilizing Long-term Services and Supports (LTSS)

Self-direction allows consumers to direct and manage their own personal care services. Resources for Integrated Care is hosting a webinar to discuss the importance of care coordinators, person-centered care planning, and assisting members with management tasks required for self-direction. Participants will learn how to identify important components of self-direction and consumer involvement, identify the role of care coordinators in facilitating decisions on self-direction as part of developing and/or changing person-centered plans, and define the role of a personal care assistant in the interdisciplinary care team.
