The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) collaborated, along with resource contributions from other federal partners, developed an online financial toolkit to assist through the stages of the work life cycle: 1) Preparing for a job, 2) Starting a job, 3) Maintaining a job, 4) Changing or Losing a job, and 5) Retiring.
 

The Impact of the Pandemic on the Direct Support Professional’s (DSP) Workforce

Event Description: 
This training webinar will explore the Direct Support Professional’s (DSP) experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic by reviewing data collected from the National Core Indicators (NCI) Staff Stability Survey. Results from two national surveys conducted with DSPs during the pandemic will be shared to illustrate the impact of the pandemic on individual DSPs, the growth of the DSP workforce nationally and it's importance to those needing long-term services and supports.
