A Deep Dive into HUD’s New Income and Asset Rules

The National Center on Law and Elder Rights (NCLER) is hosting an upcoming webinar providing a deep dive into new regulations announced by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in January 2023. The Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA) Sections 102, 103, and 104 govern important aspects of HUD programs including the calculation of income and assets, new rules for over-income tenants in public housing, and guidance on recertifying tenant income.

Within tribal communities, it has become a powerful way to build understanding and open the door to greater conversation and education about dementia.

2024 CMS National Training Program (NTP) Workshops

Building State Capacity for Community-Informed Policymaking Learning and Action Series: Implementing a Medicaid Member Advisory Group

To support states in designing and implementing CMS’ proposed member advisory groups, the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) is launching the Building State Capacity for Community-Informed Policymaking Learning and Action Series. This project will support Medicaid programs in establishing or strengthening a Medicaid member advisory group aligned with CMS’ vision for centering Medicaid lived experience in Medicaid program and policy decision-making processes.
