Medicare Beneficiary Outreach and Assistance Program: Funding for Title VI Native American Programs

On May 23, 2024, the Administration for Community Living (ACL) opened applications for the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) Funding for Beneficiary Outreach and Assistance for Older Americans Act (OAA) Title VI Native American Programs. Title VI Native American Programs can apply for MIPPA grants to hold outreach events informing elders about Medicare benefits (Part D, LIS, MSP) and preventive screenings. Funds are awarded based on elder population and require documented spending.

ACL Announces "Advancing State Implementation of the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers" Grant

ACL announced the availability of approximately $2 million to support the statewide implementation of the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers. ACL will award 4 cooperative agreements to state units on aging (SUA) to undertake several activities to fulfill this objective.
