October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), The Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy has chosen "Access to Good Jobs for All" as the theme. NDEAM celebrates the contributions of disabled workers and highlights inclusive policies and practices that benefits both employees and employers. The focus of the theme is to emphasize the Biden-Harris Administration's commitment to building an opportunity infrastructure that focuses on the number and quality of employment opportunities available to people with disabilities. On September 30th the Department of Labor announced a new tool that provides more than 700 accommdation ideas for workers with disabilities and their employers. The new tool, the Situations and Solutions Finder, offers workplace accommodations by users on the Job Accommdation Network, which is a service of the DOL Office of Disability Employment Policy.
