The application deadline for the 2023-2024 Community Care Hub National Learning Community, overseen by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), is just one week away. Community-based organizations nationwide are encouraged to apply for this opportunity, offering peer support, technical assistance from national experts, and up-to-date information on resources, initiatives, and collaborations aimed at furthering the capacity of community care hubs.

Applications are now open for the American Society on Aging’s third cohort of their ASA Rise Fellowship, a program designed to prepare diverse talent to become the next generation of aging leadership in the field of aging. The first segment of the ASA Rise Cohort consists of eleven weekly sessions focused on developing inclusive leadership skills. Fellows will be educated on various topics including unconscious bias, aging issues specific to communities of color, antiracism, and allyship.

In partnership with The SCAN Foundation, West Health, and the May & Stanley Smith Charitable Trust, the Center for Health Care Strategies is accepting applications for participation in the second cohort of a multi-state learning collaborative to advance multisector plans for aging. A multisector plan for aging (MPA) is a state-led strategic planning resource that can help states transform the infrastructure and coordination of services for their rapidly aging population.

Nominations are now open for the National Council on Aging Trailblazing in Aging award. There are three categories for the 2023 award, they are Innovators, Change Agents, and NISC Founders. If you know someone who is a trailblazer in aging, nominate them today.
