The Sibling Leadership Network (SLN) has opened registration for their 2021 Conference! The SLN is a national organization that provides siblings of individuals with disabilities the information, support and tools to advocate with their brothers and sisters and to promote the issues important to them and their entire families.

ACL’s National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) will be hosting a 2021 World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) webinar titled, Coming Back Strong After COVID-19: Federal Elder Justice Innovations and Resources. This webinar will highlight prominent elder justice issues and resources to strengthen the elder justice movement. Attendees will learn how to enhance their elder abuse outreach and response efforts as well as ways to boost community engagement.

 

This webinar will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. ET

 

This session will feature experts from Trualta, a skills-based training platform for caregivers, to share their caregiver-engagement insights from supporting informal or untrained caregivers with personalized, on-demand training across Canada and 21 states. Trualta will also discuss outcomes from its latest clinical research to help organizations build the business case for training self-directed caregivers.

 

This session will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET.

 

 

 

 

NCAPPS is hosting a webinar on June 23, 2021 to reflect on their 2019 technical assistance cohort.  This webinar will feature four NCAPPS states that will be discussing their achievements over the last year and plans for the future. Panelist and discussants will talk about the importance of including people who use services in facilitating person-centered systems change. This webinar will also review the application process for the next round of NCAPPS Technical Assistance.
