Wisconsin’s Dementia Care Specialist Program: A Statewide Effort to Support People Living with Dementia, Their Family Caregivers, and Their Communities

This webinar will discuss the development and evolution of the Wisconsin Dementia Care Specialist Program. As part of county-based aging and disability resource centers, the program assists agencies in becoming dementia capable, acts as a catalyst for dementia-friendly communities, and supports individuals living with dementia and their families to live at home in the community.

      COEDD Area Agency on Aging is hosting a Caregiver Training Conference to support individuals who are preparing to be primary caregivers to a loved one. The event will feature a guest speaker from the Alzheimer's Association who will share strategies for caring for a loved one with memory loss.

      Increasing Investment in Primary Care through Medicaid Managed Care
