The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has enlisted Acumen, LLC to create episode-based cost measures potentially applicable to the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) cost performance category. As part of Wave 6 of measure development, Acumen is convening Clinician Expert Workgroups (“workgroups”) to provide input on all components of cost measure specifications. In this context, Acumen is hosting two part-day virtual workgroup webinars on October 17-18, that will be open to the public with a listen-only option.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator, Chiquita Brooks-LaSure, along with her leadership team, will be hosting the fourth National Stakeholder Call of 2023. The purpose of the call is to provide an update on the progress made in advancing CMS' Strategic Plan through their cross-cutting initiatives.
