Helping Rural Elders Achieve Aging Mastery

Event Description: 
The National Council on Aging is sponsoring a webinar to help rural elders achieve aging mastery. This is an information webinar for attendees to learn more about an open request for proposals for the Aging Mastery Program AMP. AMP is a nationwide program that includes a 10-week core curriculum to teach participants about ways to enhance their health, financial well-being, social connectedness, and overall quality of life. The goal of this webinar is to promote this initiative in 39 small towns and rural areas in Minnesota, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Medicaid in a Time of Growth and Change: Findings from the Annual Kaiser 50-State Medicaid Budget Survey at a Forum with the National Association of Medicaid Directors

The Kaiser Family Foundation and the National Association of Medicaid Directors (NAMD) are hosting a joint briefing to discuss findings and trends from the Kaiser Family Foundation's Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured's (KCMU) 15th annual 50-state Medicaid budget survey. In addition to the briefing, Kaiser will release three reports based on the KCMU survey.  Diane Rowland, Excutive Vice President, Kaiser Family Foundation, Executive Director, KCMU will moderate the briefing. The speakers will include Robin Rudowitz, Associate Director, KCMU and Vernon K.

Supporting Military Caregivers at Work and at Home
