Helping clients to apply for benefits is sometimes a complex process, not least because the eligibility requirements can vary widely between core programs. At the same time, agencies administering each have their own terminology that can be confusing for those unfamiliar with the program.

The National Disability Navigator Resource Collaborative is an initiative aimed at providing cross-disability information and support to Navigators and other enrollment specialists, thereby ensuring people with disabilities receive accurate information when selecting, enrolling and/or re-enrolling in insurance through the Affordable Care Act Marketplaces.

This webinar will offer a re-introduction to the National Disability Navigator Resource Collaborative (NDNRC) and explain how the NDNRC is helping lead efforts to conduct outreach to the disability community to encourage enrollment. The presentation will detail ways to get involved in helping people with disabilities get the healthcare coverage they need.

This webinar will feature a representative from the White House Office of Public Engagement on healthcare coverage outreach and enrollment for people with disabilities. The presentation will serve as a re-introduction to the National Disability Navigator Resource Collaborative (NDNRC) and will engage participants to think about what questions a person with a disability needs to consider when examining their health care options in the ACA Marketplace.
