Many lawmakers seek to discard the sustainable growth rate (SGR) formula, which adjusts Medicare physician fees to limit spending. Their goal is fundamental reform of physician payment, shifting away from traditional fee-for-service reimbursement to other payment models that enhance the quality and efficiency of care.

Elder justice is a multidisciplinary issue, and this webinar will provide an overview of what the Federal government is doing to address it across agencies and programs. Speakers will include officials from the Departments of Health and Human Services and Justice, as well as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The "Set Sail for the Future," 12th Annual Show Me Summit on Aging and Health will take place August 17-19, 2015, in Lake Ozark, Missouri, at the Lodge of Four Seasons. Ma4 has opened a call for presentations and requests that applications be submitted by March 15.

The Summit will present four tracks: Stress Busters and Burnout Blasters; Aging Strong; Transformation of Senior Services; and Spotlight on Senior Achievements.
