2020 NCIL Policy Briefing

Event Description: 
NCIL is holding their 15th Annual Policy Briefing. The virtual event will include presentation on current national issues and federal policies affecting people with disabilities. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with national leaders to receive up-to0date information on disability issues. The briefing is free for NCIL members and individuals registered for the 2020 NCIL Annual Conference, there is a $25 registration fee for non-members. Groups may pay for one registration fee, provided the group uses the same conference line.

The NRCNA is hosting a webinar to discuss COVID-19’s impact on nutrition and social isolation for rural residents. The webinar will provide insight on the challenges rural residents have in accessing long-term services and supports, healthcare, transportation, and other services. Speakers will discuss the creative strategies nutrition programs utilized to address the nutritional and social needs of rural residents in their communities.
