International Perspectives on Supporting People with Dementia and Caregivers

The Administration for Community Living’s (ACL) National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center in partnership with the American Society on Aging is presenting a webinar on the results from a survey on stigma given to people with dementia and caregivers from 54 countries. The presenters will also discuss Scotland’s 10-year journey to improve dementia care and how Focus on Dementia is supporting the implementation of the dementia strategy in practice.

Webinar: Implementing Person-Centered Principles in TBI Service Systems

ACL is hosting a webinar to ensure that lead state representatives and other professionals throughout the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) community have an opportunity to hear from ACL about their vision and to begin identifying strategies for implementing person-centered principles in the development of state TBI infrastructure. ACL’s Shawn Terrell will discuss an overview of what constitutes person-centered principles.

The webinar will teach participants how run, bill, and market a care management program. The webinar will be held June 22, 2017, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET.
