State Nursing Home Innovation & Transparency Learning Collaborative

Event Description:

States are primarily responsible for ensuring that nursing homes meet requirements for transparency, quality, staffing, and reporting. Effective November 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires increased transparency in nursing home operations, but states need support developing new programs and policies to respond to this new requirement.

The State Nursing Home Innovation & Transparency Learning Collaborative, led by the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) through support from Arnold Ventures, is a 12-month program that will provide up to five state teams with technical support to implement innovative strategies that improve nursing home transparency and accountability.  All states, commonwealths, and territories are encouraged to apply.

Applications are due Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
