In celebration of Older Americans Month, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is hosting a series of four webinars on elder fraud prevention and response networks. Elder justice professionals, networks, intermediaries, financial institutions, and law enforcement are welcome to attend one or all event sessions, either live or on demand.
In the upcoming third session of this webinar series, titled “Age-Friendly Banking and Opportunities for Collaboration,” participants will learn how age-friendly banking initiatives can work with elder fraud prevention and response networks. This webinar will include discussion on how financial institutions work to prevent elder fraud and how the Community Reinvestment Act intersects with elder justice. Attendees will also be provided with trusted contacts and suspicious activity reports.
