Event Description:
Detroit Disability Power has annouced Community Conversations, a five-event series about the intersections of ableism, racism, and ageism. The second event, Growing up with a Disability, will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET.
The remaining sesions will be held on the following dates:
- Thursday, September 2nd: Ableism and Caregiving
- Tuesday, October 12th: Intergenerational Organizing
- Thursday, November 18th: Policy and Ableism in Long-Term Care
