Building Capacity in the Direct Service Workforce: Moving Forward From the Summit

Event Description: 
This webinar will share and discuss recommendations from the intensive on Quality Jobs Equal Quality Care: Building Capacity in the Direct Care Workforce held at the 2020 HCBS Conference. This webinar will highlight direct service workforce capacity building strategies for state Medicaid agencies, state agency partners, managed care plans, and HCBS providers.
 
Participants in this webinar will learn about direct service workforce challenges and promising practices related to providing person-centered care, coordinating care across settings and systems, and encouraging professional development. State Medicaid agencies will share promising practices for building direct service workforce capacity. The webinar will also provide an opportunity to share feedback and discuss recommendations from the HCBS Conference intensive.
