Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs) & Designated State Entities (DSEs) – Addressing Roadblocks and Authority Issues

SILC-NET is hosting a teleconference and webinar to discuss strategies on how SILC and DSEs can improve how they collaborate. This webinar will clarify the roles and responsibilities of SILCs and DSEs and strategies on improving SILC and DSE relationships. Marijane Waldron and Michelle James of the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services and Ann McDaniel of the West Virginia Statewide Independent Living Council will present. Speakers will discuss:

• The SILC indicators and SILC and DSE assurances from ACL
• How you can use this information even though it has not yet been implemented
• New requirements and clarification that SILCs need to be aware of
• New requirements or clarification that could impact the SILC / DSE relationship

There is a $75 fee per site, not per participant. SILC-NET encourages registrants to gather individuals interested in the webinar.
