Nutrition Education in Congregate and Home-Delivered Meal Program Settings Part 1 - What Do We Know?

The National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) is hosting a two-part webinar series about the findings from a multi-state survey of nutrition educators working with congregate and home-delivered meal programs. This survey focused on the type of frequency of education provided. 

 

During this first webinar, the presenter will review the current state of nutrition education conveyed to congregate and home-delivered meal program participants and discuss the differences in education provided by non-dietetics professionals and dietetics professionals. Participants will also learn how to incorporate theory-based and behaviorally-focused nutrition education into their nutrition education sessions.
