Event Description:
There have been recent federal policy changes that require vocational rehabilitation (VR) agencies to increase services for youth transitioning into adulthood. Mathematica has partnered with TransCen, the University of Maryland, and the Institute for Community Inclusion to examine the employment outcomes for the wide range of youth who receive VR services.
Mathematica’s Center for Studying Disability Policy will host a policy forum and live webinar on this issue. A panel of experts will present and discuss: Long-term outcomes of youth who apply for VR services; The Maryland Seamless Transition Collaborative’s VR process and outcomes; Employment outcomes of post-secondary youth with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m. For more information, please contact events@mathematica-mpr.com.
