A Closer Look at the Healthy Aging in Action Report

ASTHO and CDC's Healthy Aging Program are hosting a webinar focusing on the Healthy Aging in Action: Advancing the National Prevention Strategy report that was produced by the National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council (National Prevention Council). This strategy report identifies specific actions for healthy aging that are continuing to improve health and well-being in later life. The webinar will feature presentations on some of the findings and lessons learned from the report. The webinar will also include a presentation from Satellite Beach Fire Chief, Don Hughes, on one of the community-based programs, Satellite Beach Falls Prevention Program, to discuss how their agency implemented programs and policies to promote healthy aging.
