The purpose of this NOFO is to support state implementation of the principles, recommendations, and actions as stated in the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers. Grantees will be expected to address at least three of the Strategy’s goals to more effectively recognize, assist, support, and engage family caregivers. In addition, awardees are required to collaboration with their state’s developmental disabilities agency, as well as at one additional state agency over the course of the project.
