Community Resource Specialists in Aging/Disabilities (CRS-A/D) Training Webinar

The National Information and Referral Support Center invites aging and disability professionals to join us for a webinar-based training for Information and Referral/Assistance (I&R/A) specialists in aging and disabilities. This training will provide an overview of key competencies needed for aging and disability I&R/A professionals and will provide preparation for the AIRS Certification exam for Community Resource Specialists in Aging/Disabilities (CRS-A/D).
 

Isolation and Depression in Elderly Populations During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Event Description: 
The Office of Regional Operations (ORO) Region 10 Office, will be hosting the second webinar in a three-part series on the impacts of COVID-19 on isolation and depression in vulnerable populations. This webinar will discuss HRSA resources for behavioral health as well as state and local resources to treat isolation and depression. subject matter experts will also discuss intervention and prevention efforts that prioritize health communication strategies.

    Event Description: 
    Join this webinar, hosted by the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities National Training Center (MHDD-NTC), to learn how unemployed individuals with developmental disabilities, such as autism and traumatic brain injury, can benefit from a job in the workforce. The webinar will present instructional videos and case studies that illustrate how networking and mentorship can encourage independence among these individuals.
