N4a previously conducted a poll on how Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) across the country have adapted to serve growing numbers of individuals with dementia and their caregivers. The poll also asked AAAs about the development of initiatives related to brain health. This webinar will review the results of the poll and highlight innovative programs from AAAs.

This study used mystery shoppers in six states to asses the accuracy of PACE awareness in counselors supporting LTSS beneficiaries. This NCAPPS webinar will describe the importance of integrating cultural competence with person-centered thinking, planning, and practice. Participants will learn a framework for cultural competence at the individual and organizational levels and hear examples of organizations putting this into practice.
This webinar will provide an overview of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and the program's data collection, known as the National Ombudsman Reporting System (NORS). Participants will learn how this data is used to inform policy and practice. The webinar will also provide an introduction to the AGing Integrated Database (AGID), an online query system based on ACL-related data files and surveys. AGID includes NORS data and can display different levels of focus and aggregation, from individual data elements to full database access.
