The Evolving Healthcare Legislation Landscape
The National Resource Center on Nutrition & Aging is hosting a two-part webinar about recent changes in the Medicare policy landscape. These changes from CMS will enable the provision of new medical and non-medical benefits to seniors and represent an opportunity for senior nutrition programs. The first webinar will discuss opportunities to partner with MA and other managed care plans and review how rules around supplemental benefits in MA have changed and what that means for the provision of non-medical benefits.

Finding Local Providers and Resources Through the Eldercare Locator
This webinar will discuss how the Eldercare Locator helps connect older adults and their caregivers to services and programs. Patrice Earnest, Director of the Eldercare Locator, will review the Locator’s recently redesigned website. The site includes a searchable database of local agencies and programs and offers a library of helpful, consumer-based resource materials. The newly designed site also features a Native Service Locator. Representatives of the National Resource Center on Native American Aging will further discuss the process of connecting Native elders with resources.
Status and Trends in Public Financing of Supports and Services for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Financial and programmatic spending on long-term supports and services are compelling indicators of the strength of a nation’s investment in the inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in their communities. The State of the States in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Project analyzes nearly 40 years’ worth of public financial investments in IDD services and supports, offering a comparative nationwide longitudinal look at financial and programmatic trends in institutional and community-based services for people with IDD in the US.
CSG Stay-At-Work/ Return-to-Work Webinar: Implementing Effective SAW/RTW Policies at the State Level
This webinar will discuss how state policy makers can use the SAW/RTW Toolkit as a resource to develop policy frameworks that assist workers in transitioning back to or staying at work following disability or injury incurred on the job.
