Event Description:
Join this training from the National Center on Law and Elder Rights (NCLER) to explore the intersection of health and housing and learn how to support aging in place. The training will provide information about Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), and explain which housing-related services can be funded through Medicaid.
After completeing the training, participants will be able to:

Understand the connection between health and housing.

Learn the different ways that Medicaid can fund HCBS to keep people in their homes or create housing for people experiencing homelessness.

Hear examples of different community models that have integrated housing and health care to support housing stability, including for previously homeless older adults.
