The Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS), in collaboration with the Kaiser Permanente National Community Benefit Fund at The East Bay Community Foundation, has announced its upcoming "Medicaid Health-Related Social Needs Implementation Learning Series." This initiative aims to assist up to nine Medicaid agencies in developing, implementing, or refining high-impact initiatives to address health-related social needs (HRSN). Over the course of 12 months, participating states will engage in peer-to-peer learning sessions focused on enhancing and expanding HRSN programs within Medicaid-managed care organizations, health care systems, and community-based organizations (CBOs). The curriculum will prioritize fostering partnerships, establishing accountability mechanisms, translating emerging best practices, and creating Medicaid benefits based on existing and emerging evidence.
CHCS welcomes applications from Medicaid officials and teams to participate in this 12-month collaborative beginning in March 2024. States, commonwealths, and territories looking for timely support for HSRN initaitves should consider applying.
Upcoming Dates:
- January 23, 2024 – Applications due by 5:00 p.m. ET.
