National Senior Center Month

National Senior Center Month, organized by the National Council on Aging (NCOA) in partnership with the Administration for Community Living (ACL), celebrates the vital role of senior centers in the lives of older adults. With over 11,000 senior centers serving more than one million older Americans daily, these centers serve as community focal points, connecting seniors with essential services. During September, NCOA encourages individuals to explore their local senior centers and shares inspirational videos showcasing how these centers empower older adults to lead healthy, independent lives. In line with this year's theme, "Discover Yours," NCOA and ACL have created a variety of resources to help older adults discover the benefits of their local centers.
