Make Your Mark: Enhance Socialization and Nutrition

Event Description: 

The National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) is hosting a series of four webinars throughout the month of March. The first webinar in this series will focus on how the Congregate Nutrition Program can help decrease social isolation amongst older adults. During the webinar, presenters will discuss their experiences with the program and review the challenges they faced. Participants will learn about a recent national study, "Beyond the Meal: The Value of Socialization in Older Americans Act Congregate Nutrition Programs," and discuss future opportunities for congregate meal programs.
