Event Description:
During this webinar, participants will learn about the efforts of two ACL Alzheimer’s Disease Programs Initiative grantees to create sustainable dementia programs. The various aspects of community, organizational and financial sustainability will be explored. Specific strategies and methods will be discussed, including the use of outcomes data, organizational fit, potential models and funding sources to sustain programs. Challenges will also be shared to highlight areas needing further exploration, analysis and pitfalls to avoid. At the end of the webinar, attendees will be able to:
- Define community sustainability, organizational sustainability, and financial sustainability.
- List at least three funding sources to sustain programs.
- Identify at least four different strategies to sustain programs.
- Communicate outcomes data to increase awareness and buy-in of programs.
