Event Description:
Wendy Strobel Gower of Diversity Partners, Michelle Day of Frederick County, MD, and Lanae Green of Region 16 in Burlington, IA, will present a webinar to teach workforce development professionals how to best assist job seekers with disabilities. They will discuss the requirements of Section 188 and strategies in how to build a more inclusive workforce development system at the local level by affirmatively recruiting and offering services to job seekers with disabilities. They will also highlight information from the Diversity Partners online modules. The webinar will be held on June 29, 2017 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM ET.
