Improving Access to Health Care Coverage in Rural Communities with Medicaid and CHIP

The Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign, an initiative of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is hosting an upcoming webinar titled "Improving Access to Health Care Coverage in Rural Communities with Medicaid and CHIP." This webinar will highlight the role of Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in addressing the healthcare needs of families in rural areas, where challenges related to poverty and unemployment can hinder access to care. In this session, CMS staff and partners will share relevant strategies, resources, and best practices for rural community outreach and enrollment to address health equity challenges in rural communities. Speakers will discuss the importance of partnerships, provide practical tools, and share materials from the Campaign's rural health initiative to support outreach.
