Finding the Balance: Person-Centered Supports that Honor Both Safety and Dignity of Risk

This NCAPPS webinar will explore the role of support providers as they balance the individual's choice with "duty of care". The webinar will discuss the importance of the 'dignity of risk' from the perspective of individuals with disabilities and will review how support providers can assist in managing risks associated with certain decisions. Participants will also hear about training opportunities where they can learn to manage health and safety concerns in a person-centered way.
