Falls Prevention Awareness Day

The National Council on Aging is hosting the 9th annual Falls Prevention Awareness Day. This years theme is "Ready, Steady, Balance: Prevent Falls in 2016." NCOA has many resources to help states and organizations celebrate this observance. Some of the resources include:  Infographics, a video of falls prevention, webinar, a social media toolkit, a PowerPoint presentation toolkit, several handouts. and examples of falls prevention awareness activities. Falls Prevention Awareness Day will be observed on September 22, 2016-- the first day of fall.
