Community Inclusion Film Screening, National Core Indicators and Conversation on Quality

Valerie Bradley, Founder and President Emerita of Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) will be joining as a guest speaker with Olivia Sullivan, from Elsevier/DirectCourse, to watch “Of the Community,” a 28 minute film depicting stories of community inclusion from eight individuals and their families. During this screening, attendees and speakers will have the opportunity to:

• Walk through the National Core Indicators that providers and states can use to determine measurements of community inclusion success and areas of improvements.
• See where your state ranks in quality outcomes.
• Learn about College of Direct Support online training, designed to advance the "community inclusive" mindsets and competencies of direct support professionals.
• Take questions from the audience and provide recommendations
