Commit to Connect Office Hours: Advancing Social Connection as a Public Health Priority

Event Description:

Commit to Connect, the Administration for Community Living’s (ACL) initiative to reduce social isolation and loneliness, is hosting virtual Office Hours for professionals interested in public health strategies to advance social connection. Sample discussion topics will include partnering with public health departments around policy, systems, and environmental change; identifying sustainable social connection programs; and more. This forum will provide attendees with an opportunity to share experiences, network, and learn from one another. In addition, speakers from Missouri and Mississippi that are implementing the Building Resilient Inclusive Communities (BRIC) program will share examples of strategies employed in their communities to reduce social isolation and loneliness.

The Office Hours will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 11:00 a.m. ET. CART closed captioning and American Sign Language interpreting will be available.
