Join the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP) and the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) from April to October 2024 for a learning collaborative focused on addressing malnutrition at the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) level. The new OAA regulations released in February 2024 require that area plans outline services that address malnutrition and reflect malnutrition plans.
Throughout the 6-month learning collaborative experience, teams will:
- Identify operational and administrative activities to support implementing a strategy to address malnutrition in their area plan
- Identify barriers to implementation of a malnutrition strategy
- Develop the structure of a malnutrition strategy
- Assess their current area plans to identify areas of improvement and plan their next steps of addressing malnutrition
- Evaluate progress of implementation
This collaborative provides four learning sessions with peers, monthly one-on-one guidance, and the development of individual strategies for malnutrition implementation.
Applications are open until Friday, April 5. For details, contact Laura Borth at lborth@nanasp.org
