ACL Hosts a Webinar about Sexual Violence on People with Disabilities

ACL's Link Center is hosting, “A Conversation With People With Disabilities About Sexual Violence and Call to Action for State Agencies”. This webinar will highlight extent of sexual assault in the disability community and the barriers that survivors with disabilities experience when seeking support. The speakers aim to bring awareness to the higher rates of sexual violence that those with disabilities, including cognitive and intellectual, face compared to other populations. This webinar will raise awareness about these issues among leaders from state agencies that support people with disabilities. 

The webinar will take place on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
