Understanding Disabilities in Native Communities

The National Indian Council on Aging (NICOA) will hold a webinar discussing how to improve services, provide protections, and utilize resources for people with disabilities in native communities.

This webinar will explore NICOA’s “Understanding Disabilities in American Indian & Alaska Native Communities” toolkit, which highlights data on and resources for American Indian and Alaska Native persons living with disabilities. The toolkit features sections on healthy living, education, employment, assistive technology, housing, transportation, and more.
