Throughout the years, the Human Services Department has internally reviewed its long-term care systems and made improvements as needed. The issue of developing an <I>Olmstead</I> plan will be revisited with the new administration.</P> <P> </P> <H4>Implementation</H4> <I><P>Legislation</P> </I><P>No legislation was enacted this year related to <I>Olmstead.<BR> </P> <P>Lawsuits</P> </I><P>There are no lawsuits related to the <I>Olmstead </I>decision.<BR> </P> <I><P>Next Steps</P> </I><P>The state Department of Human Services, Center for Adult Health received a $1.385 million Real Choice Systems Change Grant. The money is being used to assist the state in moving people from nursing homes to community-based settings under a nursing home transition grant.</P> <P> </P>
