Registration Open: Boundary Spanning Leadership Training

The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association, is accepting applications for a two-day virtual Boundary Spanning Leadership (BSL) training. Offered through ASTHO’s partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership, the session examines how organizational, sector, and perspective-based boundaries can affect collaboration. Participants will explore approaches for working across groups and engaging with partners on Alzheimer’s and dementia-related initiatives.

Eligible applicants include state health department professionals working on Alzheimer’s or dementia and cross-sector partners such as those in transportation, housing, labor, or justice. Up to 16 teams will be selected based on application order and eligibility. Participants will be expected to attend both sessions, complete light pre-reading, and provide input through a post-training evaluation.

Applications are due by Today, June 6. Selected participants will receive confirmation or waitlist status by Monday, June 9

The training will take place virtually via Zoom on Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET.
